Eurocontrol has reported that air traffic controllers’ unions in Italy have called a four-hour, strike on Monday 20th March.
The nationwide strike, which affects all ACCs and airports across the country, will begin at 12pm and end at 4pm (UTC).
An ACC is a facility responsible for controlling aircraft which are en route in a particular volume of airspace.
Passengers planning to fly on the affected day are advised to contact their airline to confirm flight status.
