French airline workers plan 48-hour strike this weekend

‘HOP!’ is an alliance between three regional French airline companies (Airlinair, Brit Air and Régional) within the Air France group.

On Wednesday it was reported by Le Telegramme that HOP! staff unions have confirmed a 48-hour walkout in a dispute concerning job stability.

Flight attendants and ground staff at HOP! are expected to take part in the planned industrial action, which will take place on Friday 7^th and Saturday 8^th April.

Passengers due to travel with any of the participating airlines on the days in question are advised to confirm the status of their flight well in advance before heading to the airport.
