According to ASLEF, the strikes planned by drivers on London’s Night Tube for this Saturday and three weeks later have been cancelled.
Union members were set to walk out on the nights of April 8th and 29th but the strikes have now been called off.
The industrial action was initially called over concerns that existing staff would be “blocked” from applying for full-time roles on the Tube in favour of new recruits.
After the introduction of the Night Tube, drivers were also disgruntled that their overnight work schedule did not qualify for overtime pay.
