Air Traffic Controllers in Italy will potentially strike between 1 and 5pm on Friday 16th June as part of a nationwide transport strike taking place.
As a result of this proposed industrial action, it may be necessary for airlines to make adjustments to flights scheduled to operate during the strike hours.
Passengers due to travel to and from Italy during this period are advised to monitor the situation closely and contact their airlines to establish whether there are any changes to their flight programmes/timings.
As a precaution, anyone travelling is advised to carry essential items such as medication, baby formula, nappies etc. in their hand luggage as well books or games to keep children occupied in case of delays.
