KLM introduces twice-weekly direct flights to San José, Costa Rica

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin flying direct to San José, Costa Rica as of 31st October this year. KLM will fly twice a week to Costa Rica on Tuesdays and Fridays. The outward flight will leave Amsterdam-Schiphol at 15:25 and arrive at San José at 20:05 (local time). The return flight will leave San José at 22:05 and will arrive at Amsterdam-Schiphol the next day at 15:10 hr.

President & CEO of KLM, Pieter Elbers said:

“KLM currently brings many passengers to Costa Rica via Panama. The increasing interest of the European market in this beautiful country convinced us to start a direct flight to San José.”

The San José service will be operated using the most modern and fuel-efficient aeroplane in the KLM fleet, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The Dreamliner has a capacity of 294 seats: 30 seats in World Business Class, 219 in economy Class and 45 in Economy Comfort Zone.
