It has been reported that some airport personnel in Italy will strike for 24 hours, from 00:01 to 23:59, on Monday 2nd October 2017.
While the strike has not yet been confirmed, passengers planning to fly into or out of airports in Italy on 2nd October should contact their airline to confirm flight status as a matter of precaution.
Travellers are further advised to monitor local radio and other media for information of strike developments.
