A number of strikes are expected to affect air travellers in Italy on Saturday 24th March.
Cabin crew at Blue Panorama Airlines plan to go on 24-hour strike on Saturday.
A union representing ground staff at Pisa Airport, has called a four-hour strike on Saturday. The strike will run from 1 – 5pm, local times. Disruption to flight schedules is possible according to the airport.
Handling staff at Marco Polo Airport in Venice have also called a four-hour strike on Saturday. The strike is scheduled to take place from noon until 4pm, local times.
Passengers planning to fly on the affected day are advised to contact their airline for up-to-date information regarding their flight status.
