CUB Trasporti, a union representing the staff of Italian airline Alitalia, has called a 24-hour nationwide strike.
The strike, expected to involve both pilots and cabin crew, is scheduled to take place on Monday 26 February.
Those planning to travel with Alitalia on the affected day are advised to contact the airline well in advance to confirm their flight status.
