Airport security strike Portugal

It has been reported that private security staff at airports across Portugal are planning a 48-hour strike, which will take place on the 24^th and 25^th June in a dispute over working conditions.

A union spokesperson has revealed that the strike will take place at all the airports across country, including those in the Azores and Madeira.

Passengers planning to fly during the weekend should expect delays and are advised to contact their airline to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
