Virgin West Coast train strikes through December & January

The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT), has announced that workers on the Virgin West Coast line will strike six times in December and January, with one walkout planned to take place on 22 December.

According to the union, around 1,800 train managers, on-board catering staff and other workers will be involved in the action.

The strikes, which will take place on 15^th and 22^nd December, and then 5^th, 8^th, 26^th, and 29^th January, have been called in a dispute over pay and working conditions.
