Turkish Airlines slowly resuming flights at Istanbul airports

Yesterday Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that all domestic flights out of Istanbul would be cancelled until 12am today.

The measure was taken as a result of heavy snowfall and storms in the Turkish capital which resulted in a loss of visibility.

While a total of 338 flights were cancelled from Atatürk and Sabiha Gökçen Airports, THY is beginning to resume domestic flights.

Passengers are advised that delays and cancellations still continue as THY is still struggling against the snow.
