Security staff threaten to go on strike at four Portuguese airports.

Security employees at Porto, Lisbon, Funchal and Porto Santo airports in Portugal have announced plans to launch a partial strike during the Easter holidays in a row over pay. The strike is proposed to take place from 13 – 17 April and is backed by the Sitava Union.

If it goes ahead disruptions to airport security operations are possible so passengers due to travel are advised to allow for additional time to clear security.
