Oman Air introduced a new baggage concept last week which could benefit those travelling with excess baggage.
The following baggage policy will apply for any tickets issued from the 9th January 2017:
Economy
– Economy guests – one piece of baggage weighing up to 30kg pp. Checked-in baggage with linear dimensions of 158cms
– Economy guests with valid Silver or Gold Sindbad cards – one additional bag with a maximum weight of 20kg (total 50kgs) pp.
Business and First Class
– Business and First Class guests – two bags with a maximum weight of 50kg pp.
– Business and First Class guest with valid Silver or Gold Sindbad cards – an additional 10kg (total 60kgs) pp.
Pre-purchase of additional baggage
Oman Air’s current pricing model for additional baggage will be replaced with an additional piece concept whereby guests are able to pre-purchase additional pieces of luggage with a maximum weight of 20kg for only 56GBP one way or 112GBP return to any Oman Air destination (Excluding services to/from Bangladesh & Nepal) departing from the UK.
