    Emirates Spring Updates

Hello Bali – Double Daily Service Starting this Summer

Two years after Emirates’ inaugural flight to Bali, the airline will be offering a double daily service to the Indonesian island commencing 2nd July 2017.

As well as improved connections from Manchester and London, the new service will offer an excellent connection from Newcastle.

The flights will be operated using the Boeing 777-300ER, a two class configured aircraft with 42 seats in Business Class and 386 seats in Economy.

Emirates Introduce Laptop Loan Service to USA

Emirates have introduced a tablet loan service for US-bound First and Business Class passengers.

The new tablet loan service, which commenced on 5th April 2017, has been introduced to help mitigate the inconvenience of the recent electronics ban imposed on certain flights to the US.

The Microsoft Surface tablets provided will be equipped with Microsoft Office 2016 and passengers can download their work onto a USB which can be brought on board and plugged into the devices.

The service is complimentary and will be available on all non-stop services from Dubai to Emirates US destinations.

Emirates has also announced a laptop and tablet handling service available for all US-bound customers which allows passengers to keep their electronic devices until just before they board their flight.

At the boarding gate, passengers will declare and hand over their laptops, tablets and other banned electronic devices to security staff who will pack and tag each device to be stored in the aircraft hold and returned to the customer at their US destination.

The handling service is also complimentary and is available to all US bound Emirates passengers, regardless of booking class.

The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) directive does not apply to Emirates US bound flights via Milan (EK205) or Athens (EK209). It also does not impact flights departing from the US, or Emirates flights to any other destination.

Emirates customers flying to the US can find out more about how the new TSA rules impact them at www.emirates.com/electronicsban.
