Last month Loganair announced a new service to Cornwall Airport Newquay, the airline’s sixth new route from Newcastle International Airport. Loganair continues to invest in connecting the North East to the rest of the UK and beyond, expanding a growing network of flights out of Newcastle.
The route from Newcastle to Newquay, will make it quicker and easier than ever to travel between the North East and the South West of England, transforming connectivity between the two regions. Due to launch on 1 April 2020, with fares from £69.99 one way, the year-round service is already on sale.
The 85-minute non-stop flight will operate four-times-weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) with additional Saturday services operating from May to September and extra flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays taking the service up to a daily frequency during school holidays in July and August.
Following its launch at Newcastle in March of this year, originally with services to Brussels and Stavanger, Loganair has already added regular flights to Aberdeen, with routes to Bergen and Guernsey commencing next summer.
Loganair Managing Director Jonathan Hinkles said: “We’re excited by these new routes which we’ve been working for some time to develop at just the right level… The growing economic links between the North East of England and Cornwall mean we’re confident that business demand will sustain the year-round service.”
All Loganair fares include a free checked baggage allowance, allocated seating and complimentary in-flight refreshments.
