Last week, union leaders for London Underground workers ordered a 24-hour strike on the Victoria Line. The strike will take place on 27-28 November, with RMT train drivers walking out from 10 p.m. on the Wednesday until the same time the following day.
The Victoria Line is used by some 600,000 passengers a day and disruption is expected, commuters are advised to find an alternative route in advance. An RMT spokesman has warned that if the dispute over a range of issues is not settled, then the union “will consider further strike action in December”.
