Virgin Atlantic has refused to recognise the PPU as a union, leading the airline’s pilots to plan a series of one to four-day strikes between the end of December and the beginning of March.
Virgin Atlantic is currently seeking an injunction to prevent the planned industrial action, but the union has not currently declared any plans to cancel the proposed strikes.
The airline is taking precautionary measures to minimise potential disruption.
Below is a full list of the Virgin Atlantic pilot strike dates across December, January and February, if the industrial action does go ahead.
– 30th December to 2nd January
– 31st January – 3rd February
– 28th February – 2nd March
Anyone planning to travel on these dates is advised to contact Virgin Atlantic to confirm flight status well in advance.
