A series of rail strikes are expected to affect passengers during Easter holidays. Madrid Metro workers plan to strike again on 17th and 24th April, the plans for further industrial action follow a strike which was held on Monday 10th.
The strikes will run from the beginning of service until 8:30am (local time), 64 per cent of services are expected to be guaranteed during the affected days.
In a separate dispute, members of AVE and Renfe train crews began a 10-day strike on Tuesday 11th April. Only services on board are to be hit by this strike with rail traffic expected to operate as usual.
